Welcome to your resource for transitioning to Evergreen 2.0, an “entire house remodel” of our wealth solutions platform. The Evergreen leadership team’s two years of research and due diligence have resulted in this transformation, and we are thrilled to take this journey with you.

Use the step-by-step guide below for a smooth transition. It explains the four specific emails you will receive, where you need to take action, and the timeline. 

Evergreen 2.0 is helping us evolve how we serve you, but we’re not changing the things that made you choose us in the first place. You will also continue to work with the same trustworthy advisor who helps you achieve your goals and dreams.

What’s Happening and Why?

Since founding Evergreen in 2015, we have remained dedicated to making thoughtful, forward-thinking choices to serve your best interests. Every decision, including our previous transition to a Registered Investment Adviser (RIA), has brought us to this pivotal moment: delivering you a new client experience with a new wealth solutions platform with best-in-class investment and technology options and tools.

Our “entire house remodel” of our wealth solutions platform will transform us into Evergreen 2.0, powered by Continuum, a Commonwealth Financial Network® company that provides a premier experience for fee-only wealth management firms. Commonwealth, our long-term infrastructure provider, affords us access to investment options, wealth management expertise, and technology solutions.

These updates bring exciting benefits to you and us alike. We will continue to be the same firm, committed to serving all your wealth management needs, and you can take full advantage of our expanded capabilities.

Fidelity Institutional Wealth Services®

Your Evergreen brokerage accounts will be held with Fidelity Institutional Wealth Services (IWS), a leading trading, custody, and brokerage services provider. You will benefit from expanded choices to access sophisticated investment solutions and new wealth management possibilities.

  • The lowest-cost share classes of mutual funds, ETFs, and SMA products
  • Enhanced yield on money markets
  • Direct indexing and tax harvesting to tailor solutions for your wealth stage 
  • Broader, more diverse investment options to optimize assets and portfolios
  • Expanded investment universe using alternative investments

What’s Changing and When?

  • Evergreen will share your transition time frame via email by mid-2025. 
  • Evergreen will send you an email to start the paperwork process via DocuSign.
  • You sign your documents using an approved  e-signature process and receive an on-screen confirmation. You can also download and save the documents if you choose.
  • Fidelity Brokerage Services processes your account transfer, which typically takes three to five days. During this time, there is a two-day blackout period. You will not have access to your accounts for money movement, transactions, or visibility for that brief timeframe. Evergreen will closely monitor your individual needs to minimize any disruption throughout the process.

Get to Know Orion, Your New Client Portal

Benefit from using Orion, the best-in-class client portal and Evergreen-preferred mobile application that empowers you to understand your complete financial life. Orion will provide you access all your Fidelity IWS accounts a comprehensive view of your finances.

Orion benefits include

  • Consolidate your net worth, financial plans, process, account balances, and performances in a single location, and receive an executive summary from your advisor. 
  • View cohesive reporting of all assets and portfolios, including alternative investments from multiple platforms.
  • Use customized real-time dashboards to showcase what you want to see.
  • Upload, store, view, and send files with Orion’s Document Vault—even on the mobile app.
  • Use integrated tools and analytics to help assess, predict, and plan for your future.

What’s Changing and When?

  • As part of Evergreen 2.0, you’ll switch from your current client portal (Investor360°) to Orion.
  • You’ll receive an email from Orion with instructions for setting up your Orion user account.
  • The email will include a temporary password, valid for 24 hours. If you miss the 24-hour window, you can request a new temporary password from Orion.
  • Once you complete the Orion setup process, you can use the portal to view your accounts. Use this client guide for detailed guidance on setting up your account access. 
  • After accounts are transferred to Fidelity IWS, new activity will be viewable on Orion or fidelity.com. 
  • Visit Orion by using the Orion link on this website, or you may bookmark https://login.orionadvisor.com/. 
  • You will still have access to records of your closed accounts in Investor360°. Also, any accounts with Commonwealth named as the custodian will remain active in Investor360°.

To help serve you more efficiently, Evergreen is changing its fee structure and frequency. Advantages of this new process include:

What’s Changing and When?

  • Fees will shift from a pay-per-transaction structure to a monthly platform fee. 
  • The platform fee rate, calculated based on the value of your portfolio, covers:
      • Transaction costs for investments
      • IRA maintenance fees
  • Fees will be reflected on your account statement.

Why is Evergreen making this transition? 

After two years of research and due diligence by the Evergreen leadership team, we are transitioning to deliver you an evolved client experience with best-in-class investment technology, options, and tools.

Will my advisor change? 

No, you will continue to work with your current advisor and servicing team.

Are there benefits associated with this transition? 

Yes, please see the Explore the New Benefits to You section above.

Will anything be taken away because of this transition? 

Once you transition to your new client portal, Orion, your accounts will no longer be active on Investor360°. However, you can still view your closed accounts in Investor360°.

Is Evergreen’s cost structure changing? 

Yes, please see the Get to Know Your Fee Changes section above.

Will this change how or where my money is invested?

Your custodian is changing to Fidelity IWS, providing you more investment opportunities and options. However, Evergreen will still apply the same care and diligence as always to your financial planning and wealth management.

When will the transition take place?

Evergreen will send you an email to confirm your transition timing.

What steps should I take ahead of the transition?

The transition may take up to five days, and includes a two-day blackout period.
During this time, there is a two-day blackout period. You will not have access to your accounts for money movement, transactions, or visibility for that brief timeframe. Evergreen will closely monitor your individual needs to minimize any disruption throughout the process.

Will the transition require any work from me?

Yes, you will be required to sign documents using DocuSign and create logins for fidelity.com and Orion. You will receive an email with instructions. Please see the Easy Step-by-Step Transition Guide above for details.

What should I do if I don’t receive an email I’m expecting from Evergreen, Fidelity, Orion, or Agreement Express?

Please contact the Evergreen office.

How do I get a fidelity.com username and password?

After receiving your transition email from Fidelity, you’ll create a login. If you have a current login with fidelity.com, NetBenefits®*, or eWorkplace®, you can use your existing username and password to access your new account.

How do I reset my Fidelity Investments password?

Visit fidelity.com, select LOG IN, and then click Forgot username or password? Follow the steps on the website.

Does Fidelity have a mobile app?

Yes, Fidelity has a free app, available for iOS and Android users, which you can add to your mobile device through your app store. Please note, however, that Orion is Evergreen’s preferred client portal for both desktop and mobile devices.

Where can I learn best practices for using the Orion Platform?

Access this user guide or contact the Evergreen office.

What if I forget my Orion password?

Contact the Evergreen office for assistance.

Does Orion have a mobile app?

Yes, Orion, Evergreen’s preferred mobile app, is free and available for iOS and Android users. Visit your app store to add it to your mobile device.

Will I still have access to the original client portal, Investor360°?

Yes, you can still see your closed accounts and any accounts.

You’ve signed your paperwork – now what?

All signed documents will be returned to Evergreen. Evergreen will then send your documents to Fidelity IWS to officially open your new account numbers and start the process of transferring your accounts.

Once the account is open, you’ll receive an email from Fidelity.com requesting you set up a Fidelity.com login. If you already have a Fidelity.com login, you’ll be asked to login and opt into e-delivery.

Once your new Fidelity IWS accounts are funded, access to the Orion Client Portal can be enabled. You’ll receive an email from Orion (sender noreply@orion.com) with instructions.
